Introduction
Department of Medical Education, Govt. of UP has engaged UPPWD as the Executing Agency for Construction of Multiple Medical Colleges & Hospital in Uttar Pradesh India.
Broad Scope
Project Name – Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and maintenance of IT work (Active & Passive) including Manpower, Material, Labour, Equipment’s and Tools for the UPPWD Government Medical Colleges and Hospital at Uttar Pradesh.
Establishment of Wired & Wireless Network Infrastructure – Supply, Installation, Configuration, Testing and Commissioning of Local Area Network (LAN) & Voice system as per the requirement and scope of work mentioned with 1 year onsite OEM warranty.
Passive scope of work
- A Structured Cabling System (SCS) is an organized way of cabling and installing passive components following a specific set of TIA standards
- Structured cabling design and installation is governed by a set of standards of TIA that specify wiring for Data & Voice communications using Cat-6 FTP copper cable and Building backbone connectivity to Single mode fiber OS2 & Multi mode fiber cabling and accessories
Active scope of work
- Supply and Commissioning of Hardware as per Bill of material, performance criteria and technical specification as illustrated in tender documents
- Describing and executing the process for installation and managing performance of recommended hardware
- Providing detailed documentation on site: –
- The hardware being supplied
- The process to be followed in installation of the hardware
- Process suggested for performance measurement during the period of performance guarantee for all OEM products the manuals have to be supplied as given by OEM
- Network Rack elevation with Active equipment’s populated
- IP Scheme/ VLAN details detailed pictorially active equipment wise
- The Integration buildings will be on 10g from end user
Passive & Active Support
- Operations & Maintenance Services for a period of 1 year post Go-Live of the Network
- Comprehensive warranty for all IT equipment under scope of work for a period of one year starting from commissioning of the respective Hardware.
- Support of 24x7x365 days on networking services during the warranty period
