Airport Authority of India also provides Air Traffic Management Services (ATMS) over the entire Indian Air Space and adjoining oceanic areas with ground installations at all Airports and 25 other locations to ensure the safety of Aircraft operations.

Broad Scope

The project entailed the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Automatic electronic Access Control System (AEACS) i.e e-gates at Arrival and Departure Immigration Counters at various Airports.

The project enlisted items such as Barriers, Side Walls, Internal controller, Power supply to provide to the e-Gate, Manual Operation Switch for immigration officer to control, Construction of e-Gates with their technical specifics; such as their thickness, handicapped specifics etc. remote operation of e-Gate, Indicator lights, and many other technical equipments and processes.

The load of an e-Gate estimated is 750000 transactions per annum.
